Obituary of Bettie F. Davis

Bettie F. Davis, 89, of Hammonton passed away at home on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Born in Vilonia, Arkansas she and her family traveled around the world while her late husband Jimmie R. Davis served in the U.S. Air Force. After retirement they settled in Niles, Michigan until 2015 when they came to Hammonton to live with their son. Tim. While in Niles, Michigan, Betty worked as a tax preparer for H&R Block. Betty was a member of the Pitman Road Church of Christ in Sewell. She enjoyed reading, bird watching, and cross word puzzles but her greatest joy was spoiling her beloved grandchildren whom she adored. She was predeceased by her husband, Jimmie R. Davis, her son, Steven Davis and four sisters. She is survived by her son, Tim Davis (Melody), daughter in law, Lynette Davis, four grandchildren, Toria Haden (Nathan), Katie Landreth, Logan Davis (Adyson) and Cassidy Davis, one sister, Peggy Pettey (Ensley). A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM.
