Norma Rivera, 78, of Egg Harbor passed away on Sunday in Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center Mainland Division. Born in Mayaquez, PR she lived in this area for many years. Mrs. Rivera was employed at Caesars Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City for 18 years. She was predeceased by her two sons, Nelson and Carlos. Mrs. Rivera is survived by her son Alberto Torres of Pleasantville, her daughter, Norma Ashworth of Atco; eight grandchildren, Albert, Natasha, David, Nelson, Kelsey, Jordan, Jacob; Alejandra and two great grandchildren, Isabella and Quay. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday 10:30am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish at St. Joseph's RC Church, N. Third St., Hammonton, where a visitation will be held from 9:30am until 10:30am. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton. Memorial Donations maybe made to the Ruth Newman Shapiro Cancer and Heart Fund, 7223 Ventnor Ave., Ventnor, NJ 08406.
