Obituary of Norine Granato

Norine Granato, (nee Hoffman), 87, of Hammonton passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022. She was born in Nanty Glo, PA on Sept. 23, 1934 to the late Harry and Elizabeth Hoffman. Norine was a seamstress at Kessler Clothing Shop and Ubia Sportswear for many years. She is a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union. Nornine loved the outdoors and playing Bingo. She especially loved her swimming pool and gardening. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Samuel Granato, Sr., her siblings, Mary Scaife, Rebecca Brown, Mildred Zelinsky, Elizabeth, Edward, Harry and Richard Hoffman. Norine is survived by her two stepsons, Louis Granato (Sharon Scaltrito); Samuel Granato, Jr. (Joan); her step daughter, Frances Mary Toms (George Lafferty); three sisters, Anna Watson, Eleanor DiPaolo; Hilda Chapman (Ed); two brothers, John Hoffman (Frannie); Larry Hoffman (Rosemarie) three step grandchildren, Louie Granato, Jr. (Lisa), Sammy Granato (Heather); Lori Smith (Shawn) and three step great grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Jason Smith and Sammy Granato and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022, 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home 202 S. Third St., Hammonton where a viewing will be held from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations maybe made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society, PO Box 182, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
