Obituary of Laurie Schleyer

Laurie Schleyer, 62, of Hammonton passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees. Born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL she lived most of her life in Hammonton, and was a graduate of Hammonton High School. She enjoyed doing ceramics, clay pottery and going to yard sales. She was predeceased by her parents. Leonard and Laura Schleyer and her nephew, Ryan Schleyer. She is survived by two brothers, Richard Schleyer and Leonard Schleyer III (Kristi), her nieces and nephews, Lenny Schleyer (Elizabeth), Christopher Schleyer (Agnes), Richard Schleyer and Kathleen Schleyer, four great nieces and great nephews and many cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery, 500 White Horse Pike in Hammonton, In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hammonton Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1066, Hammonton, NJ 08037 or the Funny Farm Rescue & Sanctuary, 6908 Railroad Blvd., Mays Landing, NJ 080330.
