Obituary of Virginia C. Forneron

Virginia C. Forneron (nee Conrad), 95 of Pitman, NJ passed away suddenly on Saturday in Kennedy University Hospital, Washington Twp. Born in Riverside she resided in Winslow for over 90 years before moving to Pitman in 2006. Mrs. Forneron was the first Principal of Triton Regional High School and the first Principal of Highland Regional High School both schools in the Black Horse Pike Regional School District from which she retired. She formerly taught Social Studies at Overbrook High School where she was also a guidance counselor. Mrs. Forneron graduated from Glassboro State College and earned her Mater's Degree at Rutgers University, New Brunswick Campus. She was a Life Member of the New Jersey Education Association, a member of the N.J. Principal Supervisors Association, the National Education Association and a Life Member of A.A.R.P. Mrs. Forneron was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Mary Conrad and her husband, Edward P. Forneron She is survived by her cousin, Edith O'Brien of Upper Darby, PA. Graveside services will be held Wednesday 11:30am in Winslow Methodist Church Cemetery, Hall Street, Winslow. Memorial Donations may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Ave., Phila., PA 19111, to the Winslow United Methodist Church, Hall St. Winslow, NJ or to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Robbinsville, NJ 08691. Arrangements are by the Carnesale Funeral Home, Hammonton.
