Obituary of Marie C. Virgilio

Marie C. Virgilio (nee LaBate) 81 of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday at her residence. Born in Philadelphia she lived in Hammonton for seventy four years. She was a retired hand sewer for Pembroke Clothing Co. of Egg Harbor. She was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union. Mrs. Virgilio was predeceased by her son, Bryan G. Virgilio, her two sisters, Josephine Giamporcaro and Gloria Bruno. She is survived by husband, James J. Virgilio, Sr. of Hammonton, her son and his wife, James J. and Pam Virgilio, Jr. of Terre Haute, Indiana, her sister, Diane Dodaro and her husband, James of Hammonton, her daughter-in-law, Ruth Virgilio of Folsom, six grandchildren, Gina Kinfner, Jim Virgilio, III, Tony Virgilio, Larie Thibaudeau, Bryan Virgilio and David Virgilio, four great grandchildren, Erin, Leah, Christine, and Tony M. Virgilio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 11:00 AM at St. Martin DePorres R.C. Church, 129 Park Avenue in Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton. Memorial donations may be made to St. Martin DePorres R.C.
