Obituary of Albert J. Tully

Albert "Pooky" J. Tully, 79, of Atco, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Al was born in Philadelphia, PA and has lived in Atco since 1974. He had worked as a truck driver for Modern Way Trash Removal Company in Atco for 24 years, and previously he worked at John Miller Plumbing and Heating in Atco. Albert proudly served in the U.S Marines right from high school. Al was predeceased by his wife, Bernice C. Tully (nee Piscitelli). He is survived by four daughters. Michele Moore (Jose), Sharon Stanley(Terry), Bernice Azarian (David) and Denise Medwid (Jay), nine grandchildren, Ashley, Casey, Chad, Kyle, Brandon, Brett, Chase, Madison and Jack. two sisters, Rosemary Foreman and Donna Steinmetz (Ron). A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Egg Harbor City Cemetery. Everyone attending is asked to please wear a mask. In lieu of flowers Albert's memory can be honored through donations to the "Tunnels to Towers Foundation". Contact at 718-987-1931 , this foundation held a special place with Albert or to the Atlantic County Animal Shelter, 240 Old Turnpike, Pleasantville, NJ 08232. This shelter is where Albert's special dog Max was rescued from. Arrangements by the Carnesale Funeral Home in Hammonton.
