Obituary of Frank A. DeSordi

Frank A. DeSordi, 83, of Hammonton peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Samaritan Center at Voorhees. Frank was a mail carrier for the Hammonton Post Office for 32 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war, he was mainly stationed in Alaska. Frank was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society; the Italian Heritage and the Hammonton Rescue Squad. He was predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Mary DeSordi; his siblings, Angelo, Ann Pascucci, Regina Iuso, Raymond and Ernest. Frank is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances S. DeSordi (nee Longo); his two daughters, Nicole DeSordi and her spouse Terry Hogan and Lora Kurtz and her spouse Jack; his brother, Norman DeSordi; his sister Lorraine Caparaso and his three grandchildren, Angelina, Johnny and Lydia Kurtz. A viewing will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at the Carnesale Funeral Home 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:30 am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street Hammonton, NJ. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations in Frank's name may be made to the CHOP Foundation PO Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352 or to the Michael J.
