Peter Gaspero, 88 of Margate (formerly of Voorhees and Berlin) passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 12, 2011. Before retiring he worked as a truck driver for U.P.S. in Philadelphia. He was predeceased by his wife, Emily. Devoted father of Diana Leotta of Margate, Linda Sammaritano (Tommy) of Philadelphia, Nancy Amendolia of Hammonton. Grandfather of Anthony Plunkett, Raymond Leotta, Tommy Sammaritano (Tara), Peter Benedetti (Jaime) and Michael Benedetti, great grandfather of Vincenzo, Isabella and Dominic. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Parish Church of Blessed Sacrament, Ventnor and Jerome Avenues in Margate, where a viewing will be held Wednesday 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin. Arrangements by the Carnesale Funeral Home in Hammonton.
