Obituary of Grace H. Ransom

Grace H. Ransom, 84, of Elm passed away on peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, September 10, 2021. Born in Egg Harbor City she was a lifelong resident of Egg Harbor City and Hammonton area. She worked for State of New Jersey in their Medicaid Office in Hammonton. She was a member of the Ancora Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary. Grace enjoyed cooking, traveling, going to the casinos, spending time with her family and hosting Thanksgiving Day dinners. She was predeceased by her husband, Gene M. Ransom, her brothers, Otto Eckert, Jimmy Eckert and Emil Eckert, and her sisters, Clara Eckert, Katie Jupin and Peggy Kotansky. She is survived by her son, David J. Longo Sr. (Connie), her daughters, Diane Clouser (Kerry), and Kathy Demastes (Dave), her brother, Carl C. Eckert (Florrie), five grandchildren, Wayne, Mary, David, Jackie and Chuckie, eight great grandchildren, James, Vincenzo, Joey, Cole, Leigh-Anna, Daisy, Dylan, Brittany, and one great great grandchild, Leon. A viewing will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 12:00 PM.
