Obituary of Jerry J. Davis

Jerry J. Davis, 57, of Hammonton passed away at home on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Jerry was born in Newark, NJ and he was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. He had worked at Greyhound Transportation in Pleasantville. He was predeceased by his parents, Jerry and Carolyn Byers and his sister, Beatrice Davis. He is survived by his daughter, Shantay Davis, and his siblings: Laverne Carty (Nelson), Sonya Melton (Eddie), Victoria Williams (Morgan), Alex Davis, Anton Byers (Moniqua), Antoinette Thomas (Anthony), McNeil Byers (Tasha Mason), and Angela Byers, his Aunt Cheryl Byers and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. Private funeral services will be held for invited members of the family only, and burial will be private.
