Obituary of Albert A. Salvia

Albert A. Salvia, 75, of Folsom, NJ passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in Cooper Hospital/ University Medical Center, Camden, NJ. Born in Philadelphia he lived in Folsom for 65 years. Al was a scheduling supervisor for the Philadelphia Navy Yard and he was also a co-owner of Salvia Collectibles. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge in Hammonton. Al was an avid coin collector, he loved traveling with his wife and son. He enjoyed eating seafood but his greatest enjoyment came when he was spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Marie Salvia and his brother, Anthony. Al is survived by his loving wife, Marian Salvia (nee Burkhart); his devoted son William Salvia of Folsom; his sister Donna Sutts and her husband Bobby of Folsom, his step children, Steven Farquhar, Jeff Farquhar; Jon Farquhar, Julie Farquhar; Debra Richardson, four grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and the other loves of his life, his two Labs, Teddy and Max. Funeral Services will be held, Monday, April 12, 2021, 12:00 pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in New Freedom Cemetery, Winslow, NJ. The family suggests memorial donations to Cooper Heart Institute c/o The Cooper Foundation, Sheridan Pavilion, 3 Cooper Plaza, Suite 500, Camden, NJ 08103.
