Estella M. Grillo (nee DeFrancisco) 85, of Hammonton passed away on Monday in Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center-Mainland Division. Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong resident there. Mrs. Grillo previously worked as a telephone operator at Bell Telephone in Hammonton, she also worked at the Atlantic County Library in Hammonton as an assistant librarian, and was a longtime volunteer at Kessler Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Altar Rosary Society and an active parishioner of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish. Mrs. Grillo also belong to the Hammonton Senior Citizens, the Hammonton Historical Society and the Red Hat Society. She was a former member and Past President of the Hammonton P.T.A. Mrs. Grillo was predeceased by her husband, Richard B. Grillo, Sr.; her daughter in law Adeline Grillo and her parents, Frank and Lucy DeFrancisco. She is survived by her two sons, Richard B. Grillo, Jr. of Hammonton and Roger F. Grillo and his wife Liza of North Brunswick; one brother, Anthony DeFrancisco of Vineland. Mrs. Grillo will be fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 10:00am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish at St. Joseph's RC Church, N. Third St., Hammonton. A viewing will be held Wednesday 6:30pm until 9:00pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton and again on Thursday morning 9:00am until 10:00am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial Donations maybe made to the Ronald McDonald House, 550 Mickle Blvd. Camden, NJ 08103, to St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, 226 French St., Hammonton or to St. Joseph's Convent, 219 N. Third St., Hammonton.
