Obituary of Susanne DeMeo

Susanne DeMeo (nee Vaccarella), 76, of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Township. Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong resident. Susanne worked as a hairdresser at Paul's Barber Shop in Hammonton, and at several different hair salons in the Cherry Hill area. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and Sunday dinners. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Susie Vaccarella, and her sister, Josephine Monzo. She is survived by her brother, Anthony J. Vaccarella and his wife, Kathy of Hammonton, her nieces, Stacy Norcross (Ralph), and Alyssa Heck (Paul), her nephews, Anthony Vaccarella Jr. (Heather), Joseph Vaccarella (Claudia), and Anthony Monzo (Denise), and many great nieces and great nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton. Private burial will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
