Please share a memory of Michael to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Michael Carmen Pavesi, 95, of Hammonton, NJ passed peacefully on Dec 22, 2020 at home. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident. Always smiling and joking, he was a decorated combat veteran having served in the U.S. Army during WWII in Germany, where he participated in Moselle and Rhine Campaigns. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge and ETO Ribbon with 2 Battle Stars, while in the Army he enjoyed boxing. He was a member of the VFW Post 1026 in Hammonton. Michael had worked as a Union Painter at Bally's Park Place and National Foods. He had previously worked at several clothing factories in the Hammonton area. He was predeceased by his wife, Anne C. Pavesi (nee Domenico), and his two brothers, Russell and Anthony Pavesi. "Pop", as everyone who knew him endearingly called him, is survived by his loving son Joseph, daughter in law Sheryl, grandchildren Michael (Liesse) Pavesi, Michele( Michael) LoFreddo, and Joseph(Megan) Pavesi, sister-in- law, Rita Pavesi, brother-in-law, Frank Domenico, and many cousins nephews and nieces. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Pop knew the emphasis he placed on hard work and how much family meant to him. On any given Saturday you could find him betting horses at the track and every night sitting at the dinner table with his loving family. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S.
