Although I didn't know Señora Acevedo personally, I do know her daughter, Evelyn very well. And what I do know is the person responsible for creating and rearing such a beautiful spirit as Evelyn's had to have been a beautiful soul herself. So rest in perfect peace Señora Acevedo- well done thy good and faithful servant of the Lord, well done! Evelyn my most deep and heartfelt condolences go to you and your entire family. Please know that I love you and I'm praying for and thinking of you all during this most difficult time.

I grew up with Dona Carmen. Wow! She was so funny! She was a fierce seamstress! She was a funny and kind soul. She was tiny, but spunky! Love that little lady! I never saw her angry, she was always laughing, telling jokes and making us laugh. Great human being. May God bless. You will be missed.

Tia Magaly n I were married in your house 30! Years ago You saw my 2 chilidren Crystal n CHRIS grow up. You were like my 2 mom to me We even had our own st In Winslow. Acevedo Lane. You made our street so nice with all the flowers n trees you planted As neighbors we made our little town of Elm what it is. Many people say I know you live as they go by n see our sign You were the last of your Acevedo generation I will never forget you. Magaly will never forget how you prayed for family n told us how always kept an eye on our house When many nights you couldn’t sleep We thank you so much n now you can Rest In Peace Love for ever Felix Magaly Crystal Chris n Mia
