Obituary of Carmen D. Mojica

Carmen D. Mojica (nee Robles), 77, of Hammonton passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Born in Villalba, Puerto Rico she has been a resident of the Hammonton area since 1961. Before retiring she worked as a Certified Home Health Aide for Bayada Home Health. Carmen was a longtime member of the Puerto Rican Civic Association and St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, and the Cursillo. She was predeceased by her son, Felix F. Bermudez III and her parents, Santiago and Vincenta Robles. She is survived by five children, Wanda Gomez (Reinaldo), Nelson Maldonado (Valerie), Jackie Crespo, Maria "Yaya" Rodriguez (Pedro), and Alex Morales, ten grandchildren, Juan, Yadira, Hector, Stephanie, Marco, Jose, Felix, Yanira, Nelson Jr., and Lourdes, twelve great grandchildren, three brothers, Jose Robles (Carmen), Raul Robles, and Luis Robles, three sisters, Maria Luisa Robles, Rosa Burgos, and Yolanda Robles, also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 124 S. First Road in Hammonton. www.carnesalefuneralhome.com
