Many of my fondest childhood memories are of the family gatherings at the big house in Philadelphia and the time spent with my Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Aunt Louisa will always hold a special place in my heart. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Our love to you all.

When I married Louisa’s daughter Linda, I was blessed twice! What a lovely, welcoming, delightful, innocent and pure soul. Her sparking eyes and cherub like smile will be forever etched in my memory. She was my Mother, my friend, and the best mother in law, grandmother, wife and neighbor to those who knew her. A one in a million golden person. At the age of 85, Weesy as we call her was confirmed Catholic at St. Joseph’s. I was honored and humbled to be her sponsor. She called me The Godfather. Of course we laughed because I am not. And Oh, what a laugh. One of my most precious memories was when Louisa would dance around the rec room with her baby grand daughter Carly to the music of our favorite “Opera Man” Andrea Bocelli songs; Con te partiro, E chiove, Le tue parole, Per a more,

Louisa was one of the most thoughtful, loving ladies I have ever known. She was my sister-in -law and she will always have a special place in my heart. Louisa loved life and she was a real people person. I have special memories spending Saturdays with my husband Gordon, Diana and Louisa in Philadelphia helping Nana and Pop Pop, and then spending weekends in Schuylkill County at the farmhouse together with the grandkids. I loved to be with her, and even though our lives in later years prevented us from seeing each other as often, it was always a bright spot in my day when we did connect. Her passing has left a void in my life and I will greatly miss her. I loved her and my heart aches for her family and the grief they are going through. I pray God will wrap them in His arms of love and comfort them!!
