Dear Stephanie and family,
My condolences on the passing of Gloria. It’s with a sad heart I write this as I have known Gloria for quite some time. I remember Gloria as a good woman who I was happy to see when we got together. Gloria had some quite unique stories that were shared together, always putting a smile on my face and cracking me up. I can still hear her unforgettable laugh inside my head. I remember Gloria coming over with seeds and planting flowers and herbs in flower pots, with me watering them each day watching the growth of herbs which I used in many meals along with flowers that grew. I watched her play casino games on her I pad and other games with excitement on her face. I used to walk by and hear her giggle and laugh which put a smile on my face also. Gloria enjoyed the meals I cooked as I smile, laugh, and just about cry thinking of her saying OMG, this is so delicious. Hold on..I need a minute to regain my composure. Sorry. I reminder sending her home with some leftovers or some home made chicken soup and speaking to her a few days later with her saying, yes I finished that and OMG that was delicious, thank you Michael. Ok...I’m going to need another minute here...this seems to be hitting me hard right now. Whew.
I do regret when finding out about Gloria’s cancer, not doing more for her as my days were quite filled and if I had the chance to rewind time, I so would have made myself more available. This saddens me and I have learned a valuable life lesson that I will never be forgotten. Nobody ever wishes to loose a loved one
and sometimes when The Lord calls for you, it’s your time. Gloria, I am sorry for the times in which I may not have been there for you and my heart is feeling it right now.
I will certainly miss your crazy sense of humor, the glow on your face when you were happy and the times we shared together. During the time I have know you I did learn things about life which I did not know before and I thank you for that.
May the Lord watch over you for eternity and give you everlasting life. You will be missed here on earth.
PS- When we meet again, I will provide coffee whenever you desire.
