Obituary of Anthony J. Tomasello

Anthony J. Tomasello, 61, of the Blue Anchor section of Winslow Township passed away on Monday July 27, 2015 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia. Born in Hammonton Anthony was a lifelong resident of Winslow Township. Before retiring he proudly served for twenty five years as a police officer and detective for Winslow Township Police Department. He was currently working as a Manager of I.R.C. for TD Bank. He was currently serving as a Committeeman for Ward No. 1 for the Winslow Township Committee. He was a member of the F.O.P. Inter-County Lodge No. 9 in Lindenwold , and the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society in Hammonton. Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Anthony S. and Angelina Tomasello. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie E. Tomasello (nee Villani); one son, Brian Tomasello (Alexa) of Hammonton; one daughter, Danielle Martin (Josh) of Hammonton; two grandchildren, Vincent Tomasello and Anya Tomasello both of Hammonton ; one sister, Kathleen DeMaio (Mickey) of Little Egg Harbor Township; his father in law, Robert Villani of Hammonton. He was also survived by many aunts, brothers in law and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and friends. A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 9:30 AM - 12:15 PM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations in Anthony's memory may be made the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society, P.O. Box 182, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
