Pedro "Peter" Cabrera, 84, of Mays Landing died on Saturday in Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers Point. Born in Camuy, PR he lived many years in the South Jersey area. He was a former slot attendant at the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City. He also formerly worked at Kessler Clothing Shop in Hammonton. Mr. Cabrera was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union. He is survived by his wife: Rose Cabrera (nee Logiovino) of Mays Landing; his son: Peter Cabrera of Somers Point; his daughter: Linda Campagna of Egg Harbor Township; two brothers: Neftali Cabrera of San Diego; Israel Cabrera of Rio Grande, PR; five granddaughters: Christina Virtucio and her husband Gilbert; Natalie Campagna; Dana Campagna; Lauren Rose Cabrera; Kathryn Cabrera and two great granddaughters: Isabella Rose Virtucio; Julianna Lynn Virtucio and many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing for Mr. Cabrera will be held Wednesday 6:00pm - 9:00pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street, Hammonton. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
