Obituary of Edward C. Weber

Edward C. Weber, 81, of Hammonton, beloved husband, father and grandfather went home to his Lord And Savior surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Township. Born in Elwood he was a lifelong resident of the Elwood and Hammonton area. Mr. Weber served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard. Before retiring he worked as a truck driver for Arawak Paving Co. in Hammonton. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local No. 331 in Atlantic City. He enjoyed being in the outdoors especially his summers and winters camping, boating and fishing with the family he loved unconditionally. He was a longtime active, and faithful member of the Hammonton Baptist Church, where he served as Head of the Deacon Board, and was formerly a member of the Trustee Board. Mr. Weber was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah J. Marro, his sisters, Elizabeth "Sis" Jones, Anita Tharp, and his brother, Herbert Weber. He is survived by his loyal and loving wife, Frances E. Weber (nee Capelli) one daughter, Frances Bertino (John) all of Hammonton, four grandchildren, Anthony Joseph "A.J." Marro, Krystal Lynn Marro, John E. Bertino (Grace), and Jamie Coke (Larry), two great grandchildren, Caleb and Connor, and two brothers, Robert Weber (Pat) and Nelson Weber (Lorraine). A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, were funeral services will take place at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hammonton Baptist Church, 19 S.
