Obituary of Agnes Torres Velez

Agnes Torres Velez, 67, of Pennsauken, NJ passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 at her residence with her loving family at her side. Born in Salinas, Puerto Rico she was a resident of Florida before moving to Pennsauken. Agnes was a retired accountant. She loved to dance, sing in her church choir, and travel. Family meant the world to Agnes, she enjoyed spending time with them and doing things together. She was predeceased by her parents, Ismael Torres and Ana Maria Velez Torres, her son, Alexander Lopez, and her two sisters, Yvette Ramirez and Miriam Torres. Agnes is survived by her son, Hector L. Lopez, her daughter, Lillian Lopez, five sisters, Ruth E. Rodriguez, Margaret Rivera, Annette Stowers (Wayne), Anna Reveron and Marilyn Nogue (Alberto); her two brothers, Edwin Torres, Sr. and Eduardo Marrero; her 8 grandchildren, Jared Lopez (Aida), Nathaniel Lopez, Max Guzman, Jr., Avi Lopez, Alex Lopez (Hannah), Noah Lopez, Santino D’ambra-Lopez, Marcus Lopez, her two great grandchildren, Jared Lopez, Jr. and Jalen Lopez. Agnes is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A life Celebration will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, 11:30 am a the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a visitation will be held from 10:30 am - 11:30 am. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.
