Obituary of Sisinio "Cecil" Torres

Sisinio Torres, 81, of Buena Vista Township passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018. He was born in Guaymana, Puerto Rico to the late Julian Delgado Torres and Juana Santiago. Cecil , as he was known to his family and friends lived in Hammonton since 1949. Cecil was a truck driver who drove for several farms in Hammonton delivering locally grown produce across the country. Cecil loved the farm but he loved driving trucks the most. Cecil enjoyed Spanish and Country music, gardening, and working with farming equipment. Cecil was predeceased by his brothers, Moses and Gulliemo. Cecil is survived by his three children, Angelina, Sisino, Jr. and Julian. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Noah, Dawn, Gabriella and Kevin; one brother, Benito; seven sisters, Lydia, Sara, Ines, Maria Julia, Maria Dolores, Lucy and Mercedes and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 16, 2018, 11:00 AM in Our Lady of the Lakes, RC Church, 19 Malaga Rd., Collings Lakes, NJ where a visitation will be held from 10:00 Am until 11:00 AM.
