Dave spent most of his career as a computer programmer and then systems analyst at RCA, which included frequent relocations of the family to places from Alaska to Florida, and even overseas in Belgium. He eventually settled in Medford, NJ in 1970. He also worked for Burlington County until he and Bette retired to Lewes, Delaware in 1998. Dave served the town of Medford, New Jersey as mayor, councilman, and on the zoning board. He was active in many charitable organizations over the years including the Boy Scouts, Historical Societies, the Optimist Club, the Lions Club, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and many more.
