Obituary of Ann G. Tomasello

Please share a memory of Ann to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ann G. Tomasello (nee Gilmore) 83, passed away on Saturday morning while surrounded by her loving family. Ann was born and raised in Philadelphia, but spent a great amount of time visiting with relatives in Hammonton as a child. This is when she met the love of her life and future husband, Bob. Prior to marriage, she worked as an operator for Bell Telephone and served in the Naval Reserve. Ann and Bob owned and operated the Hammonton Telephone Answering Service for many years. After selling the service in the early 1980's, Ann went to work in the Human Resources Department of Caesars and Trump Plaza Casinos before retiring in 1997. Ann was an avid reader who always had two or three books going at once. She enjoyed spending time with family and autumn vacations in New England. She was predeceased by her sister, Ruth Graul. Ann is survived by her husband, Robert A. Tomasello; her son Jim Tomasello of Hammonton; her daughters, Beth Tomasello (Helen Cooke); Susie Tomasello (Kevin Martin) all of Haddon Heights; her two nieces Emily Reh; Pamela Graul Sorensen; her sisters and brothers in law, Bill Graul; Rose Marie Tomasello, Bettie Baviera (Anthony), Dottie Mortellite (Carl) and several great nieces and nephews. A memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 12:00pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a visitation will be held from 11:00am - 12:00pm. Ann loved people and animals, so in lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Drive Suite 300 Marlton, NJ 08053(samaritannj.org) or to Monkey's House Dog Hospice and Sanctuary c/o Judy Morgan, Attn: Donations for Monkey's House, 820 N.
