Charles Anthony Saia, 80, of Hammonton passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident. Charles, or Chick, as he was known to everyone, was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #654 of Chester, PA. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and collecting and working on his cars. He was a former member of the Hammonton Lions Club.

He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony Saia and Helen Saia (nee Grams), his sisters, Grace Silipino (nee Saia) and Joanne Privitera (nee Saia). He is survived by his loving wife, Linda A. Saia (nee Williams), his son, Anthony Saia (Hilda), his two daughters, Jeanine Lancetta (Patrick), April Anderson (Mike), his grandchildren, Nathaniel Saia, Emily Lancetta, Brooke and Abbie Lancetta, Liam Anderson, Alex Anderson, Sophia Anderson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His greatest joy in life was being a grandparent, a role he embraced with every ounce of his heart. He was the ultimate mentor, confidant, cheerleader, taxi driver, inspiration and all around supporter to his seven grandchildren, He never missed a game, performance or chance to say "I am proud of you."

He was the fixer of everything for all his family and friends, not just in his retirement years but all his life. He was the hero of the family and the friend that everyone turned to for help (or sometimes just a good conversation).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S. First Road in Hammonton.
