Carlos Matos Santiago, 70, of Hammonton, NJ passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Division. Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, he lived here for many years. Carlos worked at Hammonton Walmart for over 20 years before retiring.

He was predeceased by his grandson, Orlando Medina, his siblings, Marisel Santiago, Marcos Matos, Olga Santiago and Iluminado Matos. Carlos is survived by his children, Betsy Nicastro, Carmen M. Matos and Carlos Matos, Jr., one sister, Maribel Santiago; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2026, 8:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton where a viewing will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  Burial will be Private.
