Shawn Allen McIntosh, 61, of Hammonton passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in Hammonton. Shawn was born in Hammonton and a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of Hammonton High School Class of 1982, where he played football and baseball. He was chosen as an All Cape Atlantic League All Star in Football. Shawn was a longtime member of the Sons of Italy Lodge 1658 in Hammonton, he enjoyed hunting and playing cards, but his greatest joy was watching his son, Joseph's sporting events. He also enjoyed playing with his dogs, Duke and Shanghai.

After graduating high school Shawn worked alongside his dad installing garage doors for Perrone Door Company. After that he worked as a laborer for the Construction and General Laborers Local 172 before his retirement. He enjoyed traveling and fishing trips with his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Chrissie McIntosh (nee Crescenzo), one son, Joseph McIntosh, his mother, Mary McIntosh, his sister, Kim Merkel (Sonny), his mother in law, Rose Crescenzo, his sisters in law, Erika Hroncich (Paul) and Carolyn Crescenzo (Rusty), his nieces and nephews, C.J. Merkel (Brandi), Kayla Lent (Willie), Bella, Joey, Amelia, Eva, Mack, Miles, JC, PJ, Nico and Tommy.

He was predeceased by his father, Joe Mac, his father in law, Jimmy Crescenzo and his brother in law, Jamie Crescenzo.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM. Burial will be private.
