Anthony P. "Sonny" Sacco, 93, of Winslow, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 13, 2026. Born in Hammonton, he was a lifelong area resident.

While in high school, he was drafted by the Philadelphia Athletics for his pitching prowess. Sonny proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard, enlisting as a Seaman Recruit in December 1951 and earning the rank of EN2 before his honorable discharge in 1959. He went on to serve with distinction in the New Jersey State Police, retiring as a Sergeant First Class.

Following his retirement, Sonny owned and operated R & R Electronics in Winslow. He enjoyed organic gardening and established Lil' pond Nursery. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He held a pilot's license and found great joy in flying with family and friends. He was also a licensed boat captain and enjoyed time on the water.

He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Stella Sacco; his brothers, Frank Sacco and his wife Nancy, and Nuncie Sacco; and his sister, Mae G. Sacco.

Sonny is survived by his beloved wife, Judy L. Sacco (née Flukey); his children, Linda Sacco and her husband Joe, Janet Sacco, Anthony "Bubby" Sacco and his wife Bobbi, Nicole Racine and her husband Darren, and Brian Sacco and his wife Megan; his sister-in-law, Kathleen Sacco; his grandchildren, Lisa Clee (Luke), Stefanie Kershak, Anthony Sacco (Lindsay), Frankie Sacco (Amanda), Steven Sacco (Marika), Paige Racine, Daniel Racine, Porter Sacco, and Maeble Sacco; his great-grandchildren, Frankie, Ava, Leonardo, Anthony, Mason, Abbie, Stella, and Angelina; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Sonny will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his church, country and community, and the joy he found in sharing his passions with those he loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, at Victory Bible Church, 816 S. Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037 where funeral services will take place at 12:00 PM
