Virginia "GINGER" Ferrino Rathgeb, 73, of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026, with her loving husband Frank by her side. Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident. She was a 1970 Graduate of Hammonton High School. Ginger loved spending time at the beach and strolling on the boardwalk. She was a Human Resource Specialist at Kessler Memorial Hospital for 32 years. For the past 11 years Ginger worked at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Marlton, she also formerly worked for South Jersey Hospital in Vineland. Ginger was predeceased by her parents, Sam and Virginia (nee Calabria) Ferrino. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Frank E. Rathgeb and numerous cousins and friends.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street Hammonton, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, February 19, 2026, 10:00 am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's 226 French Street Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton.

In lieu of flowers donations in Ginger's memory may be made to St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Joseph's Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
