Daniel Cordero, 89, of Chesilhurst and formerly of Hammonton passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Berlin Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico he has lived in the South Jersey area for over sixty five years. Before retiring he worked for Bertino Brothers Farm in Hammonton. Daniel enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, building minature wooden houses, joking and playing pranks, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his companion, Julia Morales Cordero, his three children, Blanca Cordero, Jessica Cordero and Eddie Cordero, his ten grandchildren, Danielle, David, Anayah, Emma, A.J., Milleanie, Kailani, Madeline, Sam and Hector, two great grandchildren, Kristian and Brianna, one great great grandchild, Gianluca, and one brother Efrain Cordero.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, January 5, 2026 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 124 S. First Road in Hammonton.
