Leon Kozarski Obituary

Leon Kozarski, 75, of Winslow Township, NJ passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, after an extended illness.

Leon was born on September 1, 1950, in Camden, NJ. He grew up in the Cramer Hill section of Camden. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School. Leon joined the Army in 1967 and served until 1972 attaining the rank of Sergeant. Lee worked for many years in the facilities branch of the healthcare system as a painter and sign maker at both Wills Eye Hospital and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he was a longtime member of the Teamsters Local 830. He enjoyed coins, fishing and lighthouse tours. Lee was predeceased by his parents, Leon Kozarski and Jean Kozarski (nee Corey) and his brother Leonard Kozarski.


Lee was married to Jeanette Frenzel, the love of his life, from 2000 until her death in 2021.

Lee is survived by his son, Craig Kozarski and his wife Lisa, his brother, Thomas Kozarski and his wife Pauline, his two sisters, Linda Durnan and her husband Frank, Barbara Handy and her husband Michael, his stepdaughter Dawn Locantore and her husband Frank, his step-sons Michael Dixon, Jr., and Joseph Bach, Jr., his sister in law Deborah Kozarski, along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.


Funeral Services and Burial will be held Privately.
