Gloria Jean Schiernbeck, (nee Brown), 75 of Hammonton passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Virtua Health Systems in Marlton. Gloria was born in Hammonton and was a lifelong resident. Before retiring she worked as a school crossing guard for the Hammonton Police Department, prior to that she worked at KMT Electronics in Elwood. Gloria was a faithful member of Harvest Church for forty seven years. She was part of many church activities such as ladies prayer group and Missionettes for young girls in the congregation. Gloria enjoyed cooking, gardening,creating beautiful diamond artwork and traveling together with her husband, but her greatest joy was the special times she spent with her grandchildren.
Gloria was predeceased by her parents. Thomas A. and Rose (nee DeFrancisco) Brown. She is survived by her beloved husband, Lance R. Schiernbeck, her daughter and son in law, Kimberly and Clinton Tumale, and their two sons, Brodi and Jacob, her brother, Thomas A. Brown, her sister, Barbara Urgo (Tom), her niece, Amber Berry and her children, Faith Berry and Ryan Elco, and her niece, Holly Massey, she is also survived by many many cousins, other family members and friends.
A viewing will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at the Harvest Chruch, 272 Route 206 in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S. First Road in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Harvest Church, 272 Route 206, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
