John Russell Caruso Jr., of Mullica Township, NJ, passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on July 28, 1953, in Hammonton, NJ, John was raised in Egg Harbor City and graduated from Oakcrest High School with the Class of 1971. He made Mullica Township his home for the past 45 years. John was predeceased by his beloved wife of 38 years, LuAnn Caruso (Ricci), as well as his parents, John R. Caruso Sr. and Clara Caruso (Kertz).

He is survived by his daughter Lauren Bella Caruso and her husband Michael Flanagan; his cherished grandsons Dean and Jack; and his sister Claire Kendall (Caruso) and brother-in-law Bill Kendall. A dedicated professional, John retired from ACIT after 25 years of service. Known for his remarkable ability to fix or build just about anything, he took great pride in his work and was widely regarded as a true jack of all trades. His talents extended beyond the practicalâ€"he was an avid fisherman and hunter who found joy in the outdoors and shared countless stories with those around him. John's loyalty, skill, and storytelling made him a friend to many. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him although he never made it easy.

A celebration of life will be held on October 11, 2025, at Oyster Creek Inn, from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
