Patricia "Patty" Sbarra (nee Neil) age 86 of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 16, 2025, at home with her husband by her side. Patty was born on Pleasant Mills Road in Nesco. Throughout her life, Patty held many jobs, starting at White Hall Laboratories. After the lab closed, she and her dear friend, Dolores Valentino, worked together on several farms in Hammonton to make ends meet. She later became the manager of the Beauty Mart on Bellevue Avenue. Her last job was with the Hammonton Board of Education as a bus aide.

Patricia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Though she never used social media, she always insisted on seeing the latest photos of her babies. In earlier years, she took great pride in hosting every holiday gathering, especially Christmas Eve dinner, a tradition she happily passed on to her grandson Charles. Known for her incredible meatballs, her home was the heart of the family, always filled with love, laughter, and the tradition of Sunday dinners.

Patty was predeceased by her son, Charles "Butchie"  Sbarra, Jr.; her parents John Franklin "Farmer" and Edna Neil; her brother Gordon Neil and her sister Sandra Santora.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Charles Sbarra Sr., her son Patrick Scott Sbarra and his wife Deborah. Loving grandmother of Charles Sbarra and his wife Courtney, Dominique Sbarra and her significant other Irving Herrera. Loving great-grandmother to Carmella Sbarra, Carlo Sbarra, and Lorenzo Herrera Sbarra. Patricia is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her family, she is survived by her lifelong friends Laura DeNucci and Jan Martino.

A viewing will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 from 9:30 am - 11:30 am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 12:00 PM in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's 226 French St., Hammonton, NJ. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.
