Luis G. Soto Obituary

Luis G. Soto, 71, went home to be with the Lord on July 31, 2025. He was a lifelong resident of Hammonton, NJ and for the past 3 ½ years he resided in Port St. Lucie, Florida where he was being cared for by his niece/caregiver Ramona Diaz and her husband Luis A. Diaz. Born disabled weighing 1 ½ pounds, he lived through all the difficulties of life. He was his mother's miracle baby and became a case study for Dupont Hospital in Delaware. His biggest hobby that he loved so much was playing the drums, and he loved all kinds of music. The family is devasted by the loss and we cherish the memories we had during our times together.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters Carmen Velez, Jose A. Soto, Ada D. Delgado, Miguel Soto and his wife Gloria Soto, Teofilo Soto, and Luis A. Soto and his wife, Ellen Soto, and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton where a viewing will be held from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton.
