Judith Dane Larsen, 77, of the Sicklerville section of Gloucester Township passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township, NJ. Judith was born in Woodbury and a lifelong resident of the South Jersey area. Her career as a nurse began in Pittsburgh, PA after graduating from the Miseracordia nursing program. Soon after returning to South Jersey, she attended and graduated from the Certified Nurse Anesthetist program at Jefferson University. She was a CNA for more than 36 years and spent those years at West Jersey Hospital, later Virtua Hospital, working for South Jersey Anesthesia. She sat on the board of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. The travel bug hit Judy and she traveled extensively through the U.S. and Europe. Sadly, Antarctica remains on her bucket list. Judy enjoyed entertaining and loved to cook for others. Her cooking skills will be sorely missed. She was also a very talented crafter dabbling in many crafts, but excelled in scrapbooking inspiring many others to learn. While Judy had no biological children, over the years she had many dogs and cats who were famously spoiled. She left behind Charlie, Bonnie & Inky and is predeceased by Daphne, Teddy, Clyde and Liberace.
She was predeceased by her parents, John Borup Larsen and Dorothy Larsen (nee Leckie) and her sister, Barbara Larsen.
Private funeral services and burial will be held at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden in her family plot with her parents and sister.
