Marie Cavuto (Albano), lifelong resident of Hammonton, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Marie worked for the Hammonton Public School District as a cafeteria cashier and later in cafeteria management. She retired after 25 years of service. Marie spent her life caring for her elder relatives, husband, children and grandchildren. She coached The Hammonton Hawks Cheerleaders and was an active volunteer in numerous organizations throughout her life including Kessler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Hammonton Cancer Foundation, and the Lady of Mount Carmel Society alongside her husband, Tom. Most of all, Marie loved life, friends, family and especially the sun! Marie enjoyed nothing more than spending time in the sun by the ocean or pool with friends and family. 

Marie was pre-deceased by her husband of 55 years, Tom. She is survived by her son Tom Cavuto, her daughter Judy Birle and her husband Jim, and three grandchildren Katie Birle, Melissa Birle, and Jimmy Birle. She was also a beloved aunt and a great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 8, 2025, 12:00 PM in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street, Hammonton, NJ.  Entombment will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.  A viewing will be held Tuesday morning 10:00 am - 11:30 am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton.
