Joseph A. Maillet, 95, of Hammonton, NJ passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at his residence. Born in Fitchburg, MA he lived in Hammonton for 67 years. Mr. Maillet retired from Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, NJ as a biomedical technician. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a licensed ham radio operator and enjoyed his time on the radio. Mr. Maillet was a member of the American Legion Post 186, the M.B. Taylor Lodge #141 Free & Accepted Masons in Hammonton, he was also a longtime member of the Shriner's. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Marie Maillet, his son, William Maillet; his brother, Adrian Maillet and his sisters, Dolores Mezzanotti and Jay Pinault.
Mr. Maillet is survived by his children, Sandra A. Capizzi and her husband, Thomas, Gail A. DiSylvestro and Joseph M. Maillet, his grandchildren, Andrea Branco and her husband Daniel, Carmen Delessio and his wife Kerry, Anthony J. DiSylvestro, Joseph D. Maillet, Olivia R. Maillet and his great grandchildren, Nora, Daniel and Dante Branco, Nora, Will and Benny Delessio.
Funeral Services will be held, Monday June 30, 2025, 12:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ where a visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.
