Jessica Ann Lewis, 66, of Mays Landing, NJ passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Born and raised in Bronx, NY she lived in Mays Landing for many years. Jessica lived life to the fullest. She loved adventures, road trips and new experiences. In addition to her very "Peter Pan" like personality, she was fiercely devoted to her family and friends and was always the first one to offer help, love and support. She loved to hunt for lizards, toads and snakes with her grandson, Ciaran and enjoyed reading books (doing all the character voices) with her granddaughter, Isla. In addition to spending time with friends and family, Jessica loved nature. She enjoyed going to the beach, tending to her flowers and taking care of all the birds that found their way into the yard. Jessica was a paraprofessional in the Hamilton Township School District for 29 years. Through her time there, she was blessed to have worked along side many wonderful co-workers and children of all ages and abilities. She was a devout Christian and a member of Calvary Chapel Church in Hammonton. Jessica read her Bible and prayed for those she knew and loved every morning.

Jessica is survived by her husband, William M. Lewis. Her daughter, Jillian Akerlind. Her son, Mark Lewis and his wife Elisha. Her siblings: Christopher Gray, Matthew Gray and Pam Koehler. And her grandchildren, Ciaran Akerlind, Isla Lewis and Callum Lewis .

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025, 5:30PM at Calvary Chapel of Hammonton, 660 S. Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Calvary Chapel of Hammonton Church.
