Nelson F. Hill, 75, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025 at Myrtle Beach Manor, Myrtle Beach, SC. Born on June 30, 1949 in Arlington, VA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Bryan Hill. Mr. Hill served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. Nelson is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Orbanus Hill; two sons, Bryan David Hill, wife Julia and Justin Michael Hill, wife Jaime; two brothers, Charles Hill, wife Ida and Joseph Hill; one sister, Brenda Gail Klose, husband, Robert; and four grandchildren: Calista McCauley Hill, Cooper Bryan Hill, Elijah Michael Hill and Saige Lea Hill.
Nelson retired in April 2012 from Amcor in Allentown, PA, where he worked as a plastics engineer. Prior to that, Nelson also worked in the Research and Development Department for Wheaton Plastics in Millville, NJ for 17 years.
Nelson enjoyed woodworking and carpentry as his hobbies. He refurbished antique furniture and did a variety of upgrades to his family homes, which included a major upgrade to an old farmhouse in Skippack, PA. He enjoyed spending vacations traveling and at the beach.
A Service of Remembrance will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Carnesale Funeral Home 202 S. Third Street, Hammonton, NJ 08037, where a visitation with Nelson's family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m - 11:00 a.m.
