Obituary of Ahnaya Stamps - Yarbrough

Please share a memory of Ahnaya to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Ahnaya Stamps-Yarbrough

A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, teacher, and most importantly… dog mom. Ahnaya Stamps-Yarbrough left this world unexpectedly at the tender age of 23 yrs. on April 30th, 2025. Born in Toms River, NJ on August 16, 2001. She shared this special day with her father/best friend, Keith Yarbrough. Ahnaya grew up in Buena, NJ where she attended Buena High School. She was an excellent athlete, and excelled in both track and cheerleading. She then became a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for children with autism. Ahnaya worked at the Laurel Springs Elementary School, and also for Autism Spectrum Mandate Services as an Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) Therapist.

Ahnaya was a lover of all things Buffalo Bills related (especially Josh Allen & Dalton Kincaid)! She was incredibly funny, whitty, and passionate about what she loved. On a typical Saturday night you could find her hanging out with her besties Nicole, Lexi, and Kayla, or snuggled up with her sweetheart Jack. Unless it was football season of course! Then, you would find her sitting next to her mom and dad watching the Bills game with all her favorite snacks.

We will always remember her beautiful brown smiling eyes. If you were ever lucky enough to be loved by her, you would quickly discover how fiercely loyal, and genuine she was to all her family, friends, and students. When you think of Ahnaya, please remember all the beautiful memories you have of her. She would want you to remember that life is fragile and short, and should always be lived to the fullest. This is how Naya lived her life.

She leaves behind her parents, Amber & Keith Yarbrough, her brothers James (Sarah), Keith Jr., her sister Alivia, her fur babies Nova and Kat Williams and her Grandparents, Jayne and Skip Blough. She will be deeply missed by all her beloved cousins, aunts, and uncles. Ahnaya is preceded in death by her infamous "Uncle Robbie", and her loving grandparent Brenda Yarbrough. May she rest in peace reunited with them in heaven riding horses in the sunset.

Rest in peace, sweet Naya. You will forever be our pocketful of sunshine.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 7:00 PM.
