Charles W. Galinas Obituary

Charles W. Galinas, 85, of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Masonic Village in Burlington. Born and raised in Pittston, PA he has lived in Hammonton since 1962. Mr. Galinas was a school teacher at the Hammonton Middle School for thirty five years before retirng. He was a member of the New Jersey Education Association and the Hammonton Education Association. Charles was an avid golfer and longtime member of the Buena Vista Country Club.


He is survived by his wife, Joan Galinas (nee Rincavage), three children, William A. Galinas (Wendy), Charles Galinas and Karen Tucker (David), seven grandchildren, Lauren Tucker, Abigail Tucker, Andrew Tucker, Matthew Tucker, Collin Galinas, Ryan Galinas, and Gabriella Galinas, and two great grandchildren, Leo Campellone and Mason Tucker.


A private funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's and burial followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be to: First Tee- Jersey Shore, PO Box 665, Point Pleasant, NJ 08742 or to the Parkinson Foundation, 3570 Olney Laytonsville Road #490, Olney, MD 20830.
