Kelvin Darnell Mahan, Sr. Obituary

Kelvin Darnell Mahan, Sr., 64, of Hammonton, NJ passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, in New Standard Senior Living at Hammonton. Born in Camden, NJ he was a lifelong New Jersey resident. Kelvin was a standout basketball player in high school at Camden High. After graduation he attended 1 year of college at Florida International on a basketball scholarship. Kelvin was a former bus driver with Journey Bus Lines, Starr Bus Tours and Academy Bus Charter Company. He served in the United States Navy from 1989- 1991. Kelvin loved watching basketball games, and he enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with family and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Kelvin D. Mahan, Jr. Kelvin is survived by his daughter, Sakera Young, his mother, Florence Witcher; two sisters, Debra Witcher and Rache' Cross and two grandchildren.




A Life Celebration will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025, 12:00PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ, where a viewing will be held from 11:00 AM â€" 12:00 PM. Burial will be Private.
