Obituary of Theresa P. Valerio

Theresa P. Valerio (nee Gazzara), 86 of Hammonton passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Royal Suites Healthcare in Galloway Township. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. Before retiring she worked at Whitehall Laboratories in Hammonton. Theresa enjoyed crafts, bowling, the Christmas season, watching the Hallmark Channel Christmas movies, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, John A. Valerio Sr., her mother, Rose Gazzara (nee DiDomenico), her brother, Charles Gazzara and her sister, Pauline Gazzara. She is survived by her three children, John "Jack" A. Valerio Jr. (Cindy), Terry Lynne Valerio, and Toni Anne Valerio - Healy, two sisters, Roseanne Gibase (Don), and Patty Gazzara, five grandchildren, Kendall (Steve), J.R. (Nicole), Renee (Mark) Kaitlyn (Dylan), Sean Patrick (Erin), and Colin (Laura), five great grandchildren, Rhys, Carter, Ariana, Rosalia and Carmelo, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM. Entombment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S. First Road in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
