Obituary of Rose N. Prestopino

Rose N. Prestopino, 96, of Mount Royal, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2025, at her residence. Born and raised in Hammonton, she lived in Mount Royal for 35 years. Rose was a retired school teacher and former principal for the Delran Township School District. Rose also taught at Rowan College. She was a member of the Gloucester County Mediation Group, Juvenile Conference Committee, Commissioner of the East Greenwich Senior Citizens, St. Vincent DePaul Society, the Mickleton Garden Club and Book Club, and member of the Parish Council at the Church of the Incarnation in Mantua. Rose is survived by her niece, Karen Porzio and numerous cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 22, 2025, 1:00 PM in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Anthony of Padua 285 Rote 206, Hammonton, NJ, where a visitation will be held from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Rose's honor may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, c/o Church of the Incarnation 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051
