Please share a memory of Henry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
'It is with heavy hearts that we announce the transitioning of Henry William Aikens III, affectionately known as Bo, who transitioned peacefully to be with his Father, Henry (Jackie) William Aikens II, his beloved brother Steven (Keke) Aikens, his nephew Vernon Hannah, and his cherished former wife Miriam (Emmy) Betterson, into the Creator's kingdom. Bo was born on June 27th,1954, and his light transformed on February 13th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and generosity that will be profoundly missed. Born in New Jersey and raised in Newtonville, Bo was a beacon of kindness, wit, and strength, loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his devoted mother, Ruth Aikens, his brother Jonathan Aikens, and his sisters Paula Aikens, Pamela Hannah, and Rhonda Stratton. His two daughters, Crystal Aikens and Sharrone Collins, along with his grandchildren Stefphon Aikens, Nateara Fireall, and Cyan Fireall, whom will carry forward his spirit. He also will be cherished and loved always by his former wife, Marsha Wolf, and his stepchildren Timothy, Keith, and Jamie, along with a history of nieces, nephews and other loved ones. A proud graduate of technical school for visual arts, Bo was celebrated as a Master Craftsman and Master Mechanic. As we celebrate his remarkable life, we remember Bo as a true trailblazer, whose spirit continues to inspire us. So, dear "Bo-Bo," 'plant your seeds in heaven, where they will flourish.' A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 9;00 AM - 10:30 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S.
