David Eric Olar, 52, of Blackwood, NJ, was born on September 6, 1972 and died tragically in a car accident on December 11, 2024. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Blackwood, NJ during his elementary school years. Moving to New Jersey did not take the Philly out of the boy and he remained a loyal Eagles and Phillies fan throughout his life. David was an amazing artist that could fix anything you gave him. He was a kind-hearted person that would go out of his way to help anyone that asked. He had such a wonderful personality and had a smile that would light up any room that he walked into.
David was a loving father, who's favorite thing in the world to do was to spend time with his two boys, David and Jack. It didn't matter if they were fishing at the lake, attending a sporting event, at one of the boy's games, or just shooting hoops in the back yard – they were always happy as long as they were together. He had a life-long passion for riding and detailing motorcycles that started when he was young. He also enjoyed getting out and golfing with his friends and family. David loved to go fishing. He was probably at his happiest whenever he had the chance to just sit back and relax on a boat in the middle of a lake waiting for that next bite. David's loving personality, playful energy and infectious smile will all be deeply missed.
David is survived by his two loving sons, David Olar (15) and Jack Olar (12), his parents Cliff and Peggie Olar, his brother and sister in law, Chris and Carroll Olar and his nephew, Zachary Olar.
