Obituary of Gabriel Echevarria

Gabriel Echevarria was born Dec. 2, 1974 and passed away on May 11, 2021. Gabe is survived by his parents Eli Rodriguez Rivera, the late Enrique Rivera and his father Cornelio Echevarria. He is also survived by his wife, Wanda Diaz, his children, Sierra E. Echevarria, Danielle Dawson, Jason O'loughlin, Brandon O'loughlin, Johnny Wells, Christina Wells and his fur baby Bailey. Gabe leaves behind siblings, Damaris Figueroa (Luis), Elinet Congleton (Richard), Carlos J. Caraballo and Ruby Echevarria, his grandchildren, Amari, Kayden, Laylani, Jason Jr., Carson, Brandon Jr., Brooklyn; his nephews, Alberto, Luis Jr., Carlos, Kevin, Brandon, Ricky, Jon Carlos and Domenic. Gabe went to school in Bridgeton where he fell in love with the game of football. His dream was to be an Eagles football player. He was a football and baseball coach, where he mentored and always gave advice to do good in school and get good grades. On the weekends he would cut friends and families hair so they can look good. He loved to cook and BBQ, play dominoes, dance and drink modelo beer. He liked to help everyone and was a hard worker. He loved his family and was always learning new things. The most important thing about Gabe was he always told his loved ones he loved them. Before he left he would end the conversations with "I love you." He will be very much missed and always remembered by his family and loved one's. "WE LOVE YOU GABE" Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 17, 2021 11:30 am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ where a viewing will be held from 10:00 am until 11:30 am. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.
